+1.  I am continually shocked at how bizarre men’s standards are.  I know men who are overweight, bald, not rich, etc., that think they are entitled to date and marry ONLY the most beautiful women.[/quote]

And this is honestly why the older single women I know are also. They had way too high superficial standards when young, didn’t give good men a chance, and now all those guys are off the market anyway. It’s important for men and women to have a realistic sense of self. [/quote]

Looks matter more to men than women. Also if a woman has never been in a relationship it wouldn't be because of the man's looks but either social anxiety or bad experience with males in the past. [/quote]
