Further, the school and its parents have a valid safety interest in dropping their kids near the school, if they cannot drop at the school itself.  The ANC is not taking this safety interest into account at all.  At bottom, if the ANC tries to impose -- or any other DC agency tries to impose - restrictions specific to GDS kids on Wisconsin Avenue, they will be sued immediately.   The ANC is absolutely crazy, here, in terms of its treatment over all.  But they most certainly are not going to restrict rights people have by law in their effort to go after the GDS community.
