Wow, you all sound like idiots.  Small planes should be banned?  Why?  The airpark should be closed?  Should cars of about the same weight (most of them) be banned and highways closed?  Because, compared to aviation, the roads are a slaughterhouse of people getting killed (which didn't even happen here).

You friends, the couple who were dumb enough to buy a home near an airport when they don't like airplane noise-"they agree" the airport which has been there long before their house was built and brings in millions of $ of revenue to the surrounding area every year should be shut down?  Really?  Well I guess that settles it.  It's like people who buy new homes in recently developed farm lands them complain of the animal smells of the neighboring farms.[/quote]
