No.  Did you just make up your own list?  What happened to Jack Black in The Holiday? Josh Hutcherson in The Hunger Games movies?

Will Ferrell can absolutely be the lead: Anchorman, Elf, Talladega Nights, etc.

And Meryl Streep can absolutely do comedy: Devil Wears Prada, It's Complicated, Adaptation, Death Becomes Her, etc.[/quote]

+1  Don't be complaining about Will Ferrell-he was perfect in ELF.   And Meryl Streep can do pretty much anything. She was fine in Mama Mia. Definitely not the "worst Hollywood casting decision ever".   [/quote]
