Shocking.
I guess she shouldn’t be doing hateful things then.
Ok, now go do Mike DeWine in Ohio (also issued lockdown orders), Montana, West Virginia, and Kansas. All these states have stricter lockdowns than Michigan: https://www.wsj.com/articles/a-state-by-state-guide-to-coronavirus-lockdowns-11584749351 Just admit: you hate women.
They are afraid of her.. that she might be the VP pick. If they were so sure of Trump and how he is a stable genius, they would not need to do this. But they are afraid because deep down, they know that most Americans despise Trump. Trump won MI by .3%. MI is a hotspot for covid, and they know that Trump managed this terribly. They have much to fear.
Are you kidding!?! I WANT her to be the VP nominee!!! I WANT her telling the whole country that they can’t buy a pack of vegetable seeds or buy house paint or go fishing in a boat with a motor! This is GOLD!!
Even though public sentiment is 2:1 about remaining at home rather than going back to work precipitously?
Those that want to stay home can do so. The world goes on without them
Sorry, this is a PUBLIC health crisis. Your actions affect my health. Whatever we do, we do it together.
Your actions also affect other's health and lives and livelihood. Yet you are comfortable taking that away from others.
So either we go broke or we die. Maybe both, if we open back up prematurely. But you don't care, you just want the old world back, deaths be damned, cause they're all just old people or people with pre-existing conditions.
Your rights end at the tip of your nose. You don't get to tell others what to do. What is prematurely? You don't know and they can't tell you. That's the whole point. Fear is a powerful means of control.
In other words, you just want your old life back, consequences be damned. Right?
My old life is the same as my new one. I work out of the house already. I'm missing nothing I did prior. What I don't want is the consequences for millions in this country that unemployment brings. I don't want the hunger, the suicides, the homicides.
I don't want that either, which is why I am happy we are giving enhanced unemployment benefits to those who lose their jobs.
Enhanced unemployment doesn’t pay all the bills. Enhanced unemployment doesn’t stop the rise in domestic abuse, substance abuse, depression and suicide that comes with being forced into seclusion. I imagine you probably have a nice house, people keeping you company and a secure job. Everyone is not as lucky.
Enhanced unemployment covers a mutlitude of evils. You are a lot less likely to commit suicide if you have money coming in than if you don't. If it doesn't cover all the bills, then we should increase it. As for all those mental health problems, our country has a horrible system for handling mental health. All those problems have been at epidemic levels for years and we have done very little about it. I'm all for an immediate and massive expansion of mental health services to deal with all that, even in the middle of the coronavirus pandemic. But that won't happen. In the meantime, I'm not going to confuse a job with a mental health service. And if we are going to go on about all these indirect effects, the overall crime rate is down and the accident rate is down. I imagine your father didn't beat your mother and you never pointed a gun at your own head. Everyone is not so unlucky.
