[/quote] Trump can’t fire Mueller directly. He can order Rosenstain to fire Mueller, and fire him if he does not. But the Statute says Mueller can only be fired by Rosenstein, and only for cause, and in writing. If Mueller was fired. He could, and likely would, ask a Court to enjoin the firing as not for good cause. And Mueller would likely win. So the end result may well be that he cannot be fired. [/quote]
