No, the millions will be to rename more schools. I thought that was clear.   And, it will be near a million.  And, it will continue--or, at least the effort will continue.  Keys-Gamarra is already on record as supporting name changes to Lee and Woodson.   No, the Board will not want to do it because of the expenses--but the precedent will have been set.

FCPS staff has already shown documented expenses to be at least $650 K--and that is just the large, obvious expenses.  It does not include all the extraneous things that have been forgotten.  Nor, does it include the admin expenses.
And, this does not include the additional expenses to families.

And yes, I'm happy. Money well spent IMHO. For a system as large as FCPS, a few million dollars to indicate that we don't worship Confederate losers who fought to keep other humans enslaved is totally worth it. [/quote]
