However, I do want to comment that this thread truly illuminates the type of parent in the lacrosse world.  It is sickening and I feel sorry for the boys who are being raised by these horrible people who trash other kids and other schools by calling them "garbage" or "second rate".  Also, the obsession they have with other teams (other than their own son's) is truly worrisome.  The tone of many of these messages is mean spirited.

My son attends one of the schools mentioned here quite often.  He knows many of these boys who play lacrosse.  For the most part, he sees them in the classes he takes which are "easier."  The non honors or AP classes tend to be filled with lax players.  He cringes when he is put in a group project with these kids because they are lazy and have an obscene sense of entitlement.  He ends up doing most of the work for the group project because otherwise they would get a horrible grade.  He tells me that most of these kids are not even good lax players.  He tells me that the ones who are actually good players are the ones who tend to be decent kids...polite and good students.

My take on this is that the kids who are jerks are learning this behavior from their parents (the ones who post here often).  It's sad because this behavior will not serve them well in the future.[/quote]
