Yes Lively triggers most black people. She feels like a Carolyn Bryant. Watching people defend her and jump through mental gymnastics to explain why she and her husband should be able to label this man a predator for saying “I like your outfit” triggers a certain ptsd. And to the extent it’s political at all, it’s only in that it shows cracks in the Democratic Party. The Democratic Party is a big tent and there’s an ocean between the average black person (almost all of whom are democrats) and anyone supporting lively in the name of feminism (also democrats).[/quote]
