Clearly a boy dad who knows nothing about the girls side of soccer in the US. The path to pro is so much narrower - there are only 15 teams in NWSL, no USL with a few more divisions of pro level soccer, no teenagers being recruited to european academies. So yes a lot of girls who can go to an Ivy, Georgetown, etc. see a much better future path becoming a doctor, etc. then struggling through to make a pro league where  a lot of players only make $80K a year.[/quote]

Heaven forbid a child put a full ride scholarship ahead of making $30k a year playing women's soccer. 🙄 Keep living vicariously through your child and helping them make horrible decisions. [/quote]
