Eye opening letter. It's dry and hard to follow, but accuses the well-connected Ramsey legal team of using their influence and connections to throw up road blocks in the murder investigation. The authors even use the term "malfeasance" when outlining how the political establishment up to the Governor of Colorado and the prosecutors worked together to muddy the waters.  The authors are careful to state how law enforcement worked hard to solve the case, but political machinations hampered their efforts.[/quote]

Exactly. One person was not distraught: Burke. When they arranged for him to go to their friends house the day JB was missing, he grabbed his game boy and asked no questions. When a police officer went over to informally interview him, Burke said he was hungry and asked for a sandwich. Every family members picture was taken that day - Jon and patsy looked exhausted and anguished. Burke smiled.

Okay and it’s not a huge leap to believe that the brother who had a history of harming jonbenet and behaviors ([b]like his fecal matter that was found in two places in her bedroom[/b]) was responsible for harming her and remaining detached from it.

And while Burke may have been on what would today be defined as the spectrum, he was verbal and in a mainstream classroom - so, high functioning so to speak. It was a lot less common for similarly afflicted kids to be diagnosed and treated with psychiatric medications in the 90s.

Misinformation--this is not true. The feces in the bed, well before the crime, were thought to be JB's who had a history of toileting problems (including having wet the bed the night of the crime). The candy box wasn't tested, might well have been melted chocolate. This is how untrue rumors spread. We don't even know if Burke hit JB with a golf club on purpose or by accident. I was hit in the face with a field hockey stick as a child. It was an accident.

According to the housekeeper, Burke smeared feces on the wall once when younger. Not a consistent thing by any means and as pointed out on this thread, associated with autism and sensory differences.

No, the feces were noted by investigators. There was a pair of pajama pants too large for jonbenet on the bedroom of her floor containing fecal matter, as well as feces smeared on a box of chocolates. It was noted by investigators in their sweep of the house but they did not understand its possible significance at the time.  It’s not misinformation.

A housekeeper also reported feces in jonbenets bed in the past in addition to Burke smearing feces on the wall when he was younger during his mother’s cancer treatment. [/quote]

Patsy said the pants in the bathroom were Jonbenet's. They were taken for testing. The feces in the bed were hers, as far as anyone knows. 
The chocolate box was not taken for testing, so no-one knows if it was actually feces or melted chocolate.

As stated, there was one Burke feces-smearing incident four years earlier. Not exactly a smoking gun since JB clearly had issues, Patsy claimed with poor wiping, around the time of her death.[/quote]
