I believe it was the parents.

My theory is they wanted to party that night and gave Madeleine too much of a sedative (both are/were doctors) and she died.

Plus, a cadaver dog picked up on decomposition in the trunk of the families rental car.

I like this theory because it is “less awful” than some alternatives. But, I don’t think the timeline works. They discover they over-sedated and therefore killed their child, [b]and they return to the dinner table laughing and drinking wine like nothing happened[/b]?  No way. [/quote]

I know it’s hard for people to believe that two doctors could cover up the death of their own child. But both are in a profession that has one of the highest rates of psychopathy.[/quote]
