Most rec coaches are just glorified babysitters that are trying to make sure his DC has friends to play with. There are some decent rec players but they can’t hold a candle to any mid level travel player. And I guarantee any rec player whose dad is coaching is not even average. [/quote]

Many younger travel coaches are mediocre babysitters at best, even for top teams. There are a number of clubs losing first and second team players from how shitty the coaching is for the younger players.

Mid level travel players only look decent from the above average travel players on the team. Many rec kids can dribble circles around 'mid level' travel kids who are pushed up through the years from doing academy programs as a 7yo.[/quote]
