This thread is basically a Fox News inspired victim complex. Admit it, OP. You want to feel persecuted even with minimal evidence to support that fear. The reality is that this persecution is pure projection. Your projection. You know religion is stronger than atheism in the United States. The Supreme Court is stacked. Evangelicals are shoving their morality down our throats. Basically it’s non-believers who are persecuted and have to defend “reality” and an equitable legal framework from religionists who want to ban abortion (thus causing innocent women with complicated or non-viable pregnancies harm). Religion is totally cool if it isn’t being used to make law for people who don’t believe in that religion, which it is.
More people in the US are Christian than non-believers, that’s not a bad thing, that’s just reality. The Supreme Court has justices appointed exactly as it has since the beginning. Suddenly that’s a bad thing, because you don’t like the opinions of the people appointed. Just because you don’t like or agree with the people who have been appointed to SCOTUS, doesn’t make it wrong or bad. It’s just not what you want. If the majority of America is Christian and you don’t like it, why not find a place that isn’t religious and where everyone in government agrees with you. You will have to move every few years from country to country because it’s possible some people you don’t agree with will be elected or appointed in government where you are living. Because you can’t tolerate living in a world where other people have opinions that are different than yours, you will have to do your research to find a place you can be happy living in. I suggest North Korea, China, Saudi Arabia? Few Christians, no Christians in elected or appointed office, plentiful abortions. oh wait- scratch Saudi Arabia, few to no Christians but complete actual subjugation of women. So China or North Korea? You will never have to deal with religious people again and you can have an abortion whenever you want. Perfect.
