Oh. Well. That’s good. See, what’s the big deal? Next time this happens in a week or so the lady can just call a lawyer at the court to see what they recommend, and maybe call a church or whatever, you know for medical guidance, and if the lady is pretty close to being sick n stuff maybe she’s okay, who knows? All I know is Texas, and other states that have banned abortion in 99.99% have shown there are tons of good workable solutions, like leaving the state.[/quote]

That's the game the state is playing.  People bring facial challenges against the law and the state claims they have no standing.  They then bring as-applied challenges after the law affects their medical care, and the state claims there's no proof the law actually affected their case, and they should have brought a facial challenge.  And now someone brings a case while she is still pregnant, and they delay her case until she's forced to go out of state so she won't die.  And then they will argue the case is moot because she's no longer pregnant.[/quote]
