I get that it is happening in real time, but I doubt this case would get the attention it is getting if she were black or brown.

I'm sure her lawyers took this into consideration before bringing the case and making it national.

I say again, “and.” Surely, you must understand how you sound a little like a forced birther doggedly looking for a point of entry on an attack, yes? Yeah, it still sucks that racism and bigotry and colorism affect the lives of millions, but if we want to change the law, you look for the maximum impact.
