The ones who cross the border work hard, pay for the roof over their heads and the food on their tables.[/quote] There are far more foreign-born homeless here than you might expect. They become homeless at a roughly similar rate to native born, but without local connections they often congregate in cities like DC. [/quote] Citation needed[/quote]
