Thank you for posting this -- she does in indeed look fantastic. I think that's just the style for hats right now, to be honest. Kate and Meghan have both worn similar styles multiple times for Trooping the Color and Jubilee -- I think it's a bit of a response to the really elaborate Philip Treacy hats that were been so popular for so long. People have been going for more streamlined, simple hat silhouettes the last few years. I actually like the style more than the ridiculously elaborate shaped fascinators that were so in vogue for a time, even if this one is a little flat. I still prefer it to most of the other headwear at the funeral -- much of it was pure fug.[/quote]
