True, but since this is the first year I can recall parents going all in on a bunch of kids born in June and July, I am going to assume that most parents of the 18,000 swimmers haven't been silently furious for the past decade since it was [b]changed back[/b] to the age cutoff that was in place for decades in NVSL and across the country.

I think that this is one of 2 things:

1. Parents of club swimmers who are upset some club kid who just turned 9 over the summer beat their kid.

2. Parents of clubs swimmers who are upset some nonclub kid who just turned 9 over the summer beat their kid which obviously should never happen because the club kid has been training all year to win all the things in the summer recreational swim league.
