I think if I was in this position I would tell BIL that you're happy to share your meal plans, shopping lists, etc. with him, but you don't feel it's your place to talk to her. Part of this is a relationship issue that's none of your business, whether your BIL sees that or not. BIL wants his stay at home partner to cook healthy meals and his partner won't do it. That's in no way your issue to get involved in. They should go to a marriage counselor. BIL needs to take charge of his own diet, just as he'd have to if he didn't have a wife. If you have time on your hands and want to help him, you can place grocery delivery orders. Can BIL get his teen involved?[/quote]
