As a young woman who traveled the world alone it felt like an extra target for harassment or worse. Also some of that "attention" you get gets damned uncomfortable if you're not into White Supremacist racists or people who hate their race and are looking to "whiten the line" or who assume you are a slut because of how you look. This by no means compares to actual racism, but there are lessons I would give to women who look like this that might not be immediately apparent because of privilege overall. Over 50 this is not an issue. [/quote]
