You don't have a clue. Let's look at overall stats of both 07 conferences:

Teams in top 100:                       ECNL MA: 36% (5 teams);       GA MA:  10% (1 team)

Teams in top 125:                       ECNL MA: 50% (7 teams);        GA MA:  20% (2 teams)

Teams in top 200:                       ECNL MA: 72% (10 teams);      GA MA:  50% (5 teams)

[b]Teams OUTSIDE TOP 300[/b]             ECNL MA: 14% (2 teams);       [b]GA MA:[/b]  [b]40%[/b] (4 teams).....one of which FVC tied 4-4......

NC/SC in the 07 MA ECNL have 6 teams in top 150 and only 1 outside top 300 (NCFC). Safe to say that outside of NCFC and BRYC, ECNL MA is very strong and teams are getting really good competition week in and week out.

The numbers don't lie.

FCV is the only top 100 team in their conference. They can say how they would or wouldn't do in ECNL and the reality is they would be fine but they would not be a lock to win the MA in ECNL. They would actually have to compete to be top 4 considering they are 3rd now in GA.

But the reality is, they will not be in ECNL and at a certain point parents will realize that their kids are simply not being challenged. Even here people are beginning to dismiss FCV. It is no wonder that there are so many threads about FCV likely started by FCV parents as an attempt to stay in the public eye and be noticed. Nobody cares about their wins because nobody respects who they are even playing.

FCV parents are in a no win situation. If you win it is expected and nobody is either impressed or cares. If you lose then you are relentlessly mocked. And frankly, a part of earning respect is winning games on a consistent basis against respected, quality opponents. Waiting for Jeff Cup or GA Playoff results just isn't enough especially when you don't advance in what is considered a watered down league.

GA is not the draw that you think it is and your 9th place 09 team is a glimpse of the future of your teams and the league moving forward without being ECNL. [/quote]
