I have to say, I actually understand this tradition historically, but it seems incredibly out of touch to enter a 30 day period of mourning for the 99 year old Prince Phillip dying of what appears to be natural causes and neglect to somehow also honor all the Britons who have died of COVID. Just bad timing.[/quote]

That is a good point. And precisely why they can't do anything to make it seem like they're breaking lockdown rules.

But still - there should be a mourning period for the 125,000+ dead in the UK if Phillip gets this.[/quote]
