He also had a lot of deep-seated resentments toward women. He totally seems like the type who would accuse women of taking advantage of his wealth. I bet his current wife wasn't left much and there was an iron-clad pre-nup. Why else is she shilling a kids' book before his body is even in the ground? She needs money.
