To travel and remodel the mansion? A few decades of consuming and no heirs and conniving men who want a piece of Rush’s fortune. She’s been obscenely rich since they were married, so I’m not sure how her lifestyle improves in any dramatic way. Her shilling books on his radio show this week is really odd. This doesn’t really align with his “conservative” values. It’s amazing to me that so many millions were taken in by this phony huckster.

There are a lot of people who grew up being forced to respect their authoritarian parents, and it fostered in them a gnawing emptiness that they fill with anger and fear. That’s Rush’s base. That’s the GOP.

Rush would've lived a lot longer if he experienced the joy and love of kids and remaining faithful to a single wife.

Four marriages, no kids, and multiple addictions? What an empty life. I don't care if he was successful at his job and made a ton of money. His heart was empty.

Of course not everyone wants kids. There are also people who want kids but are infertile, which he very well may have been. Maybe that’s why he had no sympathy for people who wanted health insurance to cover the cost of their contraception. Who knows? He is gone and his genes do not live on.
