Plus he's not a stranger to them, he is their trainer so they probably trusted him that the dogs were up on shots/not vicious, etc. [/quote]

That actually might explain why he won't move in with Mindy.  He might be contractually obligated to the couple for early morning workouts or to take care of the dogs (which is why he always brings the dog).  Zach, can you just come in here and tell us your deal? [/quote]
