New poster. Hope this helps. The 04's will be U16 next year. There is no U16 age group. There is a U16/U17 age group. That means 03s (U17) will play DA next year with the 04s (U16) on a combined team.
If the 03s are put in the DA next year, then I hope US Soccer awards Arlington a U19 the following year, so once in, they can stay.
Oh good lord, what part about "Arlington's DA will expand as the 04 group ages up" don't you understand?
Arlington just announced their first ID sessions for the season: “Arlington Soccer Association will be holding ID Sessions for the US Soccer Development Academy 2019 to 2020 season. These ID Sessions are for boys and girls in the following birth years: 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008. Boys: December 9th, January 13th and February 10th Girls: December 2nd, January 20th and February 3rd”
So the 03s can play and it looks like the 04s will have to play U16/17. Good luck!
They've got good players in both categories, but I don't think this rules out the possibility of a U16 group next year. It's already being piloted in other parts of the country.
