U13-U19 ( 7 Red teams)

7 Red teams x 3 practices =21practices a week

Now condense those teams into 5 DA teams

5 DA teams x 4 practices = 20 practices a week

Net loss of one practice. (-1)

Now, I don't know if there is an ASA Red U19 team. If there isnt, then it's a net gain of 2 practices. I would not consider that a drain on resources.

I presume ASA has the following teams:

U13-U18 Red travel teams (6 teams)

Those six teams will become DA and make 5 teams.

The demand on fields have decreased.

Move every lower team up one color without replacing the bottom.

Red becomes DA. Blue becomes Red. White becomes Blue, etc. Dont replace the bottom color team and boom..just like before...BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE....there is actually less teams than before....2 to be exact.

The issue is the demands on fields, which will go up if you know anything about Full DA.

Lower teams all get hosed. 6 lower teams to a field is already a joke. Teams like Blue and Black or Gold and Silver already share a QUARTER of a full field. That's 1/8 a field for some teams.

So four new teams in 2 years minimum (boys and girls da) maybe six (if they create U16 DA too) that practice 4 times a week and demand premium field space. Wouldn’t want to be on U10 blue team! Arlington should have had Amazon build soccer fields.

Boys: December 9th, January 13th and February 10th

Girls: December 2nd, January 20th and February 3rd”

So the 03s can play and it looks like the 04s will have to play U16/17. Good luck!

They may be able to recruit some players from outside too. I guess if they don't create U16 DA they can play U16 Red for a year if they don't make U16/17 DA and then maybe play DA when they are U17? Or they could try out for a U16 ECNL team for a year.
