I just found this thread--I'm a longtime (400+ classes) solidcore client and monthly member. I've been upset about the monthly membership price increase since it was announced, and like PPs, I got a lot of sympathy from coaches but haven't been able to solicit a response from Corporate. Now that the end of 2018 is only 5 months away, I want to figure out some way to raise this issue and actually get heard. Long-term, regular members don't get anything special and we are paying a TON. There are no showers, we still only have the short cancellation window...how about opening up the schedule for monthly members a day earlier? How about advanced-only classes (other than the occasional [supersolid] where you can only attend if you've taken 50 or 100 classes? There are a lot of us out there now and it would make for a better member experience. Anne M. is approachable in person. Maybe a few people sit down with her?
+1000. I actually wrote an email to corporate when the pricing first came out suggesting a lot of things that would make the price increase a bit more palatable (and suggesting alternatives). I head nothing. I mentioned it 2x to the studio manager and was told to resend the email 2x. The manager has been surprised that no one seems to be getting any response. Even a response like, "we hear you" or "message received" would be nice. I'm not sure whether Anne M can help now that PE is running some of the show, but I am 100% with you. Just today I was getting frustrated being in a great class, but with towels that shed everywhere and are sometimes dirty (not a big thing, but other places have nicer towels at a lower price point) and machines that are always "sort of" in need of repair--I was thinking to myself--"I'm going to pay MORE for this in 2019?!". I probably will still pay because the workout is great, but I'm planning to be even more vocal when I take a class that is sub-par or get on a machine that is broken (and has been broken for a while, but they still allow the class to fully book up). Still holding out hope for some changes!
