I just found this thread--I'm a longtime (400+ classes) solidcore client and monthly member. I've been upset about the monthly membership price increase since it was announced, and like PPs, I got a lot of sympathy from coaches but haven't been able to solicit a response from Corporate. Now that the end of 2018 is only 5 months away, I want to figure out some way to raise this issue and actually get heard. Long-term, regular members don't get anything special and we are paying a TON. There are no showers, we still only have the short cancellation window...how about opening up the schedule for monthly members a day earlier? How about advanced-only classes (other than the occasional [supersolid] where you can only attend if you've taken 50 or 100 classes? There are a lot of us out there now and it would make for a better member experience. Anne M. is approachable in person. Maybe a few people sit down with her?
Hi, PP! I like the idea of sitting down with Anne M., although TBH am not sure how into the running of the company she is. She seems more big-picture/visionary than daily operations. But that said, hopefully she could effect some changes if she buys into them. And, I agree that it would be nice to have some advantages of being such a dedicated client. I just hit 200 classes recently, and while I'm proud of that, there is this feeling that, really, it's about money for the company. We don't even get anything alone the lines of the [100 club] water bottle! (kidding, sort of) I don't really think Corporate cares, as long as they still have customers. My strategy thus far has been to limit classes to only my favorite coaches to get my money's worth, but they won't be around forever. All that said, I'm totally on board if you and/or others want to try to find a direct way to give this feedback. There's a tension there between the brand being all about community and then charging the most dedicated members of said community an arm and a leg, and in how they buried the monthly unlimited price hike in that disastrous messaging. -OP
