NP here: Don't be a jerk - you know as well as anyone the location of your child's school plays a big role in the logistics of everything - how you get to work, what kind of childcare you have, work schedules, etc...  You also probably have children and don't take lightly the option of moving your child to a new school and uprooting them from their friends and routines.  The Board has promised us this information, but hasn't told us when its coming or what the delay is, both of which would help mitigate the questions and concerns of parents that are in a holding pattern. Sorry, not sorry.  There are a ton of parents in this city who would kill to get their kids into LAMB -- no matter where it is -- because right now their kids are stuck in cr*ppy schools.  So I have zero patience for whiners whose kids get to attend an excellent school, but who have to put up with a little bit of uncertainty about exactly where that school will be located.[/quote]

The move is across town for some people. So it means that if we don’t find a way to get there, we will be stuck going to as you put it, “a truly crappy school”. Not all of us can move or pay money to get there. [/quote]
