IF as the OP was told, "many communities prepare for the test", and her child belongs to that community, then certainly her race is being considered in deciding whether the test results are legit or not. It really does seem like there is a major handicap trying to go into AAP from private school, and possibly an additional one if you're Asian. If they don't count test scores and GBRS, and they couldn't possibly tell whether a child did their samples at home/school (and the ones done at home have no value), then what are they basing their decisions on?[/quote] There are many threads saying that private school is no handicap.
