My position is the same it is logical to want the best for your kid.  It is illogical to pursue diversity especially since in many cases higher diversity = lower quality. Best = higher test scores = higher percentage of attending elite colleges

Diversity in almost all cases = lower on those two metrics

NP here. HEre's my question to you. Why do you feel that your child needs a less diverse school to do well? Why do you feel that you need  other kids with high test scores to pull up your child's test scores? Isn't your child capable of doing the best that she/he can regardless of how diverse the school is? My child surely can. I just don't get why someone would feel that someone's test scores are going to be higher at Churchill vs Northwest HS? [/quote]

I could care less about diversity (that's the whole point in my view) I care about results.  I care about my kid not being bored and unchallenged while the teachers spends all their time on getting other kids caught up (this happens all the time)  [/quote]
