Iran’s controls of the strait was not a daring and risky seizure. The Iranians had a plan that took 35 years to implement. They executed the plan when they were attacked by Trump and Bibi. Israel has been screaming about destroying Iran for 40 years now. The Iranians saw what the US military’s capabilities were planned accordingly. The Iranians have clearly outperformed the US militarily in terms of planning, operations, strategic and tactical thinking. I would hate to see how many casualties we would have taken with a ground war. How can the US be so unprepared for drone warfare?

Lucky we did not go up against the Chinese around Taiwan. The Chinese can produce a 1,000 cruise missile engines a day. These have a range of up to 4,000 km.  We would have lost a lot of capital ships. [/quote]
