They came to our school.college fair, so may be committed to our school? Otherwise ED Northwestern, legacy at Emory so that may be ED2 because really doesn't want south ( despite lots of coaching that it's urban and not untra conservative:)
If he cant get into WashU ED1, he wont get into Emory ED2. Make sure hes okay with being rejects from all 3.
Not true.
Emory is harder to get into; how is that not true?
we are glad your kid is there. Just stop. You turn people off from Emory. WashU is still harder to get into and ranked higher than emory.
Washu combined ED acceptance rate is 25%, Emory is 18%. Washu is ranked 1 position higher than Emory and that clearly has nothing to do with selectivity. Nice try tho.
Emory mom can't stop herself 🤣
unhinged. truly she cannot help herself. WashU's acceptance rate is about 12%: https://source.washu.edu/2025/08/class-of-2029-embodies-washu-values/#:~:text=%E2%80%9CThe%20Class%20of%202029%20is,12%25%20of%20its%2033%2C283%20applicants. Emory's acceptance rate is about 14.95% including an inferior campus: https://emorywheel.com/article/emory-sees-slight-increase-in-acceptance-rate-for-class-of-2029-20250329 apples to apples (same year) It's okay that schools are above Emory. Really, it is. And I say that as someone who thinks Emory is a great school, but it is less selective and ranked lower than WashU. It is slightly cheaper to attend though!
We're talking about ED, said if you cant get into WashU ED1 you cant get into Emory ed2. Emory ED2 is 10%. WashU ED1 is well over 25%. Learn to read.
