Sorry, this is bizarre.  You should own the phone, and they should be on your plan. That is parenting 101. This allows you to control and monitor their phone through yours. Clearly you dropped the ball there.  Grandpa can put money in their college fund.  But you really need to be the one to own and control the phone yourself. [/quote]

Disagree.  Based on the fact that she is even questioning what to do in this situation, she should probably relinquish *more* control over the raising of her kids to her Dad. He already knows the correct answer, here:
