You can’t possibly argue Paul was the one responsible for the great songs when John wrote songs like Strawberry Fields Forever and A Day in the Life (he wrote the slow part and Paul wrote the fast part). Everyone can have their preferences, but IMO it’s asinine to act like John or Paul were somehow not necessary to the success of that group. Both men have had great and mediocre solo output. Both men would say they needed the other to write those amazing songs.[/quote]
