This is something that some younger women think. It seems fun to be the pampered young thing. I think most women who go for this end up regretting it. Things change as you get older. You realize that it really is not great to be 45 and have a 60-year-old spouse. As you get older, there is no real advantage to being younger (your husband will not care, you're just his wife and he'll continue to notice other women), and you will only see the disadvantages of having an old husband. When you're 25, being with a 45-year-old seems OK. When you're 50 and you have a 70 year-old husband, you'll see things very differently. I have a few friends in this situation and I feel really sorry for them. It's nice to be with someone in the same stage of life!
My wife is 40 and I am 55. She already has 3 chronic health conditions and drinks a lot of alcohol. I look younger compared to her despite being 15 years older. Women today do not necessarily engage in the healthiest of behavior. Sure you can have your skin routine on point, never miss your therapist appointment. However if you eat crap, drink several glasses of alcohol a week with the girls, your much older husband who engage in a healthier lifestyle will be the one making you look old instead.
