Yeah I have a kid like this and I definitely plan to bring it up to his doctor (privately through the message system and not in front of DS) before his physical this fall just to double check there aren't any medical concerns and it's purely postural/potential weak core issues/just his body (which I've read is the most likely scenarios). I've noticed it but of course don't want to give my child issues around his body image, BUT it's summer and the other kids have noticed as well and he's gotten comments from those kids. As another poster has said, he almost looks like a kid with mild kwashikor if that was a thing! He eats pretty normal and is super active and strong so I know he's healthy. Assuming there's no medical reason, my guess is he'll either grow out of it if it's something about his musculature. Otherwise it could also just be his body--bodies are all different. [/quote]
