Having seen all of them play now, I think 6a goes: 1. Madison 2. Robo 3. Indy 4. YT 5. Cosby 6. BF
LaxNumbers top 6 ratings: Rank Team Record Rating AGD SoS 1 Robinson 8-2-0 87.95 5.30 82.65 2 Independence 10-0-0 87.73 7.50 80.23 3 Madison 7-1-0 86.51 3.87 82.63 4 Battlefield 7-3-0 86.06 5.40 80.66 5 Cosby 7-1-0 85.32 8.00 77.32 6 Yorktown 7-3-0 84.80 3.00 81.80
Is this real?!?!?!? Listen, this is not complicated. YT beat Cosby and Battlefield, and Madison beat Robo. Get the facts straight before you start talking. This kind of mix-up shouldn’t be happening, so pay attention and stop repeating it incorrectly.
Is this real?!?!? This guy can’t understand this list was the laxnumbers rankings based on SOS??? Indy people are a little slow
It's not based solely on SoS (because it obviously isn't). It is the LaxNumbers Ranking, which is based on the LN Rating. The Rating includes SoS, scores, etc. It is essentially a RPI. https://www.laxnumbers.com/faq.php
2. How does LaxNumbers compute its ratings? LaxNumbers' ratings are computed mathematically, with no subjective weighting or human determined values. LaxNumbers' algorithm computes an overall average performance rating for teams based upon how well they play against other teams and how good those teams are. A team's overall rating then determines a team's ranking position based on the national, regional, state, and/or sub-state ranking categories a team is placed in. The two main factors in the algorithm are "AGD" or "average goal differential" and "SCHED" or "strength of schedule". AGD is currently calculated by accumulating the goal differential of each game, to a maximum of 10, and divided it by the number of games played. The strength of schedule is computed by averaging the rating of each game opponent. AGD and SCHED are added together to compute a team's rating. A team's overall rating is typically not reflective of the team's best or worst games, but a mathematically computed average performance rating that translates game scores into a numeric representation of team performance.
