In the aggregate, I think this is pretty spot on. I think both young men and women are frustrated. The men become bitter and withdrawn and escape into the manosphere. The women get defensive and cling to grievance politics and self righteousness. It’s all sad. The men are giving up a purposeful life for a childlike life of video games and stupid pleasures. And the women are giving up a purposeful life so they can be a childless self righteous director of marketing somewhere. I imagine this is what the boomers had in mind during their cultural revolution. [/quote]

It's also pretty misogynistic - women can only achieve purpose in life through marriage and family. Only men's work outside the home has purpose.

The irony is that this is EXACTLY the viewpoint that women are pushing back against and still men, society, the world remain puzzled over women retaining liberal attitudes, declining birth rates, etc.[/quote]
