Mentorships & Tutors: Hiring experts in specific fields (e.g., a local university researcher) can provide the deep, specialized instruction a general classroom teacher cannot. Competitions & Clubs: Engaging in Odyssey of the Mind, MathCounts, or robotics can provide the intellectual "tribe" and challenge these students crave. [/quote]
