Schumer is making the decision to let federal workers go without pay for a few months vs. many millions of Americans going without health care coverage.

Agree with this take. People won't get it. Americans don't pay enough attention and it is way too nuanced for people to easily understand. They won't understand until it actually happens and they suddenly can't afford healthcare. [/quote]
