I'm an immigrant and I think most immigrants are very anti illegal immigration of people whose criminal history is not vetted. It seems like complete insanity to me to have some people jump through a multitude of legal hoops to even stay here after being productive members of society for years, and then have criminals jump the border and be here long enough to establish gang strongholds at all. It makes absolutely zero sense why anyone is allowing a gang member to be in the US for even a day, much less come in at all. I don't see how it's not been tackled better already.
I think you’re lying. If you were truly a recent immigrant you’d know that immigrants are not ‘criminals’, they are those fleeing poverty and war and seeking a better life, just as you did. And my great grandparents did. My great grandfather was illegal.
I am an immigrant, though not recent. And I did NOT make the claim all immigrants are criminals so not sure where that assumption came from? I am specifically about immigrants who are criminals, which is obviously not most (not sure why anyone would think I would think that?!). They hurt immigrant and poor communities the most.
