Michelle--being productive early is a great way to start out the day? Did you lose steam or are you still strong? Sara--who could resist homemade oatmeal cookies? Great job stopping at two. Make sure you eat enough good calories today to fill you up. Alexandra--How did the day go today? I have eaten well today. Had eggs with potatoes and a side of raspberries plus a glass of milk for breakfast, the last of my veggies and leftover chicken at lunch. Tofu, rice, and a vegetable at dinner. My daughter bought a box of oreos that are calling me. I may have to grab two.
Alexandra here, thanks for asking! I did pretty darn well. It was a busy day but I bought a huge and delicious salad with a ton of protein for lunch and that 1) felt like an indulgence because of the price and 2) kept me very full during some typical snack times. I did eat more carbs in the evening than ideal, including a few fries and a few chips and an evening bowl of cereal but definitely stayed under 25 grams sugar. I did not realize how often I eat chips until this thread- I seem to be reaching for them instead of sugar and I’m not sure that’s the trade off I want. Something to think about but I’m overall happy with today!
