Most dog owners don't walk their dogs properly. They do so lazily ... letting them pee in people's yards.
It's o.k. for dogs to pee in people's yards.
Are you serious? Your dog has no business being in someone else's yard without permission, let alone peeing on the grass.
In neighborhoods where there are no sidewalks, you don’t have much choice. If there’s a sidewalk, dogs should pee in the strip of grass between the sidewalk and the street. If there’s no sidewalk, it’s permissible for dogs to pee in the first 2 feet or so of front yard, which is probably a public easement anyway. They should not be peeing on mailboxes, flowers, etc.
Yeah, I'm pretty neighborly, but I'm not going to stop my dog from peeing on mailboxes.
What is so hard about this? I don’t want your dog peeing in my yard, that I pay for, or on my mailbox post. Dog urine is corrosive and I don’t see you offering to fix the brown spots on land I own or replacing the rotting post from your pet. When you pay my mortgage, then your dog can pee in my yard.
