Can be cute to look at, but judging how so many owners are just walking their dogs, it seems most owners hate the responsibility, too.
Dogs are the best. We don’t deserve them. I will die on this hill.
I completely agree with you.
Me too! I love dogs more then humans most of the time.
And this is why our society is becoming so closed up, reserved, and disconnected. People pay more attention to their dogs than to other people.
This idiotic sign says it all. If I saw this at someone's house I would go out of my way never to see them again

It's o.k. for dogs to pee in people's yards.
No, it isnt. It kills grass.
Oh no! Not the grass! Better get that puppy a catheter!
The puppy should be peeing on YOUR lawn, not mine.
Oh god

Are you serious? Your dog has no business being in someone else's yard without permission, let alone peeing on the grass.
In neighborhoods where there are no sidewalks, you don’t have much choice. If there’s a sidewalk, dogs should pee in the strip of grass between the sidewalk and the street. If there’s no sidewalk, it’s permissible for dogs to pee in the first 2 feet or so of front yard, which is probably a public easement anyway. They should not be peeing on mailboxes, flowers, etc.
Yeah, I'm pretty neighborly, but I'm not going to stop my dog from peeing on mailboxes.
