I don't know how to spell it out for you more clearly.  You disagree with the health care worker and others re what behavior is reasonable to expect to protect one another, and are posting from that point of view.  You are blaming people who are still taking precautions and who want other people to take more precautions for being unreasonable.  They are blaming people who don't take precautions because they don't think covid is dangerous anymore for causing the surge.

I think you have basically said that you eat indoors in restaurants without testing and don't know whether other people around you have tested or are symptomatic (I think you probably do this because you think expecting someone not to do this is unreasonable).  So you aren't THAT careful.  That's at least one thing the health care worker asks people to do that you don't do.  Are there others?  Seems like you do fall into the category of people who aren't doing everything that person asked for, yet you're still hiding behind "you don't know how careful I am, I'm plenty careful, so leave me alone!"  Do you do everything on their list?
