Youngkin has been consistent in his views about masking: they should be a personal choice. Why would he align his behavior with the views of people who disagree with this?

You may not agree with him, but he has no need to cater to the beliefs of his constituents who disagree with him. His behavior in this instance aligned with the law and the requirements of the property owner. Some hysterical weirdo at the store doesn't get to set the rules.

Basically, the mask fanatics in this thread want Youngkin to ditch his clearly stated position on mask-wearing to appease them. I doubt many of these posters voted for him, so why would he care about their opinions, one way or the other?
