[/quote] Reading all these angry posts you'd think these BOE members would be run out of town but they'll win by landslides which just goes to show how out of touch these posters are with the mainstream.[/quote] You realize a big reason why Apple ballot candidates do well is because MCEA is one of the biggest (probably the biggest) political action groups in the county, with advertising and ground-game activities that can't be matched by anyone else. And good on them, I guess, but how have parents been suckered into perceiving this as a benevolent organization rather than a workers union acting in their own self-interest? I think after the school reopening fight you'll see less people blindly accept Apple ballot candidates, but I think a lot of people never put things together that Apple Ballot means specifically union-endorsed.[/quote] +1 Amen to this [/quote]
